Inclusion in youth work
International training course on inclusive youth work
08.11.2026 - 13.11.2026
Inclusion, with a focus on people with disabilities, is a key priority in youth work. However, creating truly inclusive events and activities often face practical and structural barriers. This training course addresses the critical need for disability-inclusive youth work. Across Europe, young people with disabilities continue to experience exclusion from social, educational, and recreational opportunities. Many youth organizations still lack the knowledge, skills, and resources to ensure full accessibility and meaningful participation for all.
Youth workers, both voluntary and professional, play a vital role in advancing inclusion. By adopting inclusive practices, barriers can be removed and environments can be transformed to ensure that young people with disabilities are not only included but also empowered to participate fully.
